Childhood-Enfance's main source of revenue is its fundraising activities at the Delta Bingo & Gaming Sudbury, formerly Bingo One. Thanks to the continued efforts of the dedicated people who volunteer weekly at the Delta Bingo & Gaming, our budget continues to grow and in turn provide valuable funds to the Breakfast, Snack, and Lunch programs supported by Childhood-Enfance.
Local and other community contributors make donations to Childhood-Enfance. Its board of directors receives the donations, reviews school funding requests, approves and allocates the funds (which are subject to availability) according to the need.
Approved schools are allocated a numbered account at National Grocers or a participating local grocery store. According to the approved Breakfast, Snack, and Lunch Program, grocery accounts are strictly identified to be used for the purchase of nutritious foods ONLY.
FUNDING TO SCHOOL PROGRAMS
To date over $2,000,000.00 has been raised to provide breakfasts for school children.
